Emergency Preparedness for Traumatic Events

Overview – There are numerous traumatic events that unfortunately occur on a regular basis here in our own communities. This presentation will provide information specific to facility managers regarding fires and active shooters. Understanding the steps you can take to safeguard your tenants and properties is a crucial element of your overall business strategy. We encourage you to bring member of your staff to this event, including members from your Safety and HR departments. 

Live simulations will take place. It is mandatory that any attendee with a CCW realize they will NOT be permitted to bring any weapon to this presentation. This is for the safety of attendees, participants and presenters. 

Presenters: 

Becky Edgren, Owner, PuroClean Emergency Services. Becky and her company respond to emergency property damage resulting from water, fire, mold, and biohazard events on a daily basis for residential and commercial properties. Becky teaches Disaster Preparedness and has a passion for sharing her knowledge and experience in hopes of minimizing damages and injury through preparedness planning. 

Greg Sherwood retired from the Beavercreek Fire Department after serving 20 years and founded Advanced Backflow and Fire Protection Services. Greg will share relevant information for protecting commercial buildings and tenants from the trauma of fires. 

John Pawelski served on the Dayton Police Department before starting Moonlight Security 18 years ago. John has extensive experience in dealing with crimes of all levels and will educate attendees on protecting and surviving active shooter events.
