Once in a great while we get the opportunity to tour an innovative, award-winning facility; the time has come again! Join us for a tour of Dayton Metro Library's Main Branch located in downtown Dayton. This building is LEED Gold and performs 40% better than a standard building with respect to energy performance. The tour will be led by Dayton IFMA member and Dayton Metro Library's Facility Operations Manager, Angela Peterson. She will take us behind the scenes and give us a look into:

DML’s building automation system

HVAC system

Lighting controls

Artwork on the walls and hanging from the ceilings

Conference rooms and rentable spaces

Parking garage

In addition, another Dayton IFMA member and past President, Ryan Hoffman, will be available on tour to answer any questions regarding building performance and sustainability.  Ryan is a Principal at Heapy Engineering in Dayton and is their Operations Manager, focused on Building Optimization Practice.
