Natural disasters, such as tornadoes, hurricanes, flooding, and wildfires appear to be on the rise and a significant amount of businesses that experiencer a disaster never recover. Active shooters, fires, cybersecurity breaches, and maintenance malfunctions can also wreak havoc on a business. An Emergency Management Plan is the first line of defense should a disaster of any size or type occur.
This presentation will provide an outline, and a workbook, to help you develop an Emergency Management Plan specifically for your organization. We will walk you through the process so you can determine areas of greatest risk and then develop a “to-do list” to help safeguard your organization should a disaster occur.

The presenter will be Becky Edgren. Becky started her professional career in manufacturing working at her family tooling and machining business for 25 years. In 2008, Becky purchased a start-up franchise business, PuroClean Emergency Services, a specialist emergency water, fire, mold, and biohazard clean up and restoration organization. Today, she has 20 full-time employees and services the Dayton, Springfield, and Cincinnati markets.
Becky has received numerous awards from PuroClean over the years including President's Circle for consistently performing in the top 10% of all franchises. Becky teaches continuing education courses and strategic planning for business owners and executive management. She speaks on leadership, ethics, disaster preparedness, family business, and small business development.
