HOLD FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 25TH OPEN FOR A GREAT VOLUNTEER
Dayton IFMA has volunteered to participate with Dayton Habitat for Humanity. The build location is 809 Ashokan Rd, Englewood, OH 45322. We are scheduled for two sessions on Friday, September 25th. Session I is from 8:30am to 12noon and Session II is from 12:30pm to 4:00pm.
DOHFH is a non-profit, volunteer-driven Christian ecumenical housing ministry dedicated to providing decent, affordable housing to families in need.
Habitat for Humanity serves as a hand up, not a handout, for families in need. Families apply to us to earn a house of their own. Once accepted into the program, our "Partner Families" work alongside our many volunteers to build their house. They put in 275 to 550 hours of "sweat equity” before earning their home, which is then sold to them for the cost of materials and any contracted work on an interest-free mortgage. Partner families make a down payment toward the purchase of their home.
Mortgage payments from our Partner Families are put back into our Fund for Humanity to build future homes. Other funding sources include revenue from our ReStore, corporate and church sponsorships, individual donations, government and foundation grants, and fundraising events.

To register as a volunteer go to www.daytonhabitat.volunteerhub.com:
- Click the Sign In link on the top right corner of the page.
- Click the Register button.
- Complete the registration form. *Please note that if you do not complete all of the required fields, your registration will not be processed.
Be sure to associate yourself with Dayton IFMA by checking the box to the left on the group membership portion of the registration.
- Click the Save and Continue button. If you do this and it takes you back to the registration form, scroll to the top of the page and look for the instruction in red. Hit save and continue again to submit your registration.
- Congratulations! You are now registered! Sign in using your new username and password!
To sign up for a volunteer day:
- Sign in with your username and password.
- Scroll down to the date your group has reserved for volunteering.
- Click the Sign Up button next to
- Follow the prompts to finalize your volunteer date.
- You will receive an email confirmation and a reminder email three days before the event.
Need to cancel your volunteer day?
· Sign in with your username and password.
· Scroll down to Your Upcoming Events.
· Locate the event you need to cancel and click the Cancel button.
· Follow the prompts to cancel your event.
Forget your username and password?
